Short but funny. in Spring time, sunshine and flowers, 2015

Currently sitting on the toilet in silent spasms of laughter.

Lila ran into the bathroom for the third time during this visit so I said, rather vexedly, with a certain amount of straining in my voice, “I’m doing a poo!”.

At that moment I noticed that she was holding the landline phone in her hand, which she had brought to me because it was ringing. The landline phone which automatically connects you when you take it out of the cradle....

I switched it off, horrified. Then I checked the number that was calling, a number that could only be a cold caller....

Then I giggled and giggled and giggled at the thought of what the caller heard during a routine sales call!
