Of late I’ve been walking into Perranporth rather than taking the car, it time I tried to lose some bulk; my legs and joints say I should! All so I have a Fitbit again, mine I lost on a bus about eighteen months ago; now I have Sweetheart’s fitbit who was not using hers.

It’s a tiny device of a type that has replaced the pedometer, it of course counts my steps – 7026 today so far, also remembers the number of stairs I’ve climbed – miles travelled and kilocalorie’s burned; 5 stairs – 3.36 and 2745 so far! And if I enter when I got into bed and when I getup I’m told my sleeping efficiency, I usual register between 93% and 98% today’s was 95%

My walk to the Park in Perranporth is a downward, that walk I can complete with out a brake, there I stop and sit on one of the bench’s round the boating lake; I haven’t yet took a boat out I’m quite happy with a place to sit! Each time I’m in the Park I have a look at the Swans and their Cygnets, there were three but a cat caught one!

Usually I have a package to post, so that takes me onto the Post Office, and from there I make my way to the breach; there are a good number of people on the sand but there is still enough space to have your own area. I watched the activity out there, took two photographs and then I headed back to the Park.

As I walked round the lake the adult Swans were crossing the path, their afternoon on the grass, I kept going and sat on the wall. These Swans are quite calm with people close, they are a smaller breed than we had on the canal near to our home; know one went close to those two ….

Today we took Lola again to Stithians for another agility compaction, Lola went round the jumps and tunnels very well.

The only time she went wrong was when she saw a bowl of water, Lola went off the arena for a drink; so Lola didn’t go home with a rosette this time – there will be another compaction – at least we went home with a smile’s on our faces …….
