Moral dilemma..... in blackpropaganda

When we arrived we found our Spanish tv (no Sky etc for us) had no signal. First of all a panic that the communal aerial was not working. Then overnight I thought - hey, let’s try retuning the stations - and all OK.
That allowed us to see Barcelona win the Copa Del Rey on Saturday evening (soccer) - and bullfighting on Sunday.
For a long time there has been no live bullfighting on Spanish tv - and campaign against the sport (?) for reasons of cruelty , but things seem to have changed - in this case the event was for a children’s‘ cancer charity. Do Spaniards do irony?
Actually we watched a lot of it - the first bull was clearly deemed to be not trying - taken back in - but the next was up for it - and very slowly was worn down by the matador through his passes etc until at one point the bull seemed mystified as the matador turned his back and walked away from a couple of feet.
Then he went for the kill - the sword in the nape of the neck - it took two attempts and then it was over.
The skill of the bullfighter was amazing - as was the courage of the bull - but I have not coped with the moral dilemma of watching and enjoying the expedience while not approving of such cruelty.
On a less serious point - nipple count at 20! No moral dilemma there!
