surprise in --

I have to be at a meeting that I got less than 24 hours’ notice of tomorrow at 8am.
And Cannon woke up from a nap a 9pm.

Tomorrow probably won’t be good, BUT we are going to go to a Thomas the Train special train ride thing in another town, and I think Cannon will really enjoy it!

He had his evaluation with the school district today. We are going over the results on the 10th. They are making him some cards with things he likes on them as a way to get him to communicate wants and needs to us. He has been doing a lot better with it the past week though. He’s asked for a drink twice, and he said “hungry” tonight. I was so proud of him!

I think I forgot to mention that after the first autism evaluation they said he is on the cusp of normal (meaning not autistic) and low-spectrum autism. So that’s very good news. We still have the second evaluation but it hasn’t been scheduled yet because the doctor’s office doesn’t know how to freaking sign a paper. -.-
