F I N A L L Y in Friends With the Benedicts

So, remember Laura had a doc appt today at like 9am? It sucked since it’s our anniversary and she has to take Xanax to go, which makes her tired and worn out, (she’s sleeping now, case in point.) and just the whole experience puts her on edge usually for the whole rest of the day, Xanax or no. She hasn’t been to a General Practitioner in a few years, been dreading it really. She has been wanting to find just the right person, who will laugh at the jokes she makes when she’s nervous, be NICE above all else, and just treat her like a regular person ya know? Well folks, we have found him in Dr. Smith!!!!! OMG I am just in love with this guy! He came in and talked to us, asked for our input, left what we wanted to do regarding medications (staying on the same drug or switching it up) completely up to her, he was just, everything we have been looking for in a doc for her!!! She doesn’t even care that he wants to see her back in a month!! Now, I dunno if it would have made any difference, but for the appt. she did take her lip rings out this time, so all she had were ears and eyebrow. I really don’t think with this guy it would have tho. He is so down to earth and just, likeable I wish I could see him even!! And I love my own doc to pieces! Ha. It was like, the best anniversary present we both could have gotten. Finally… YES.
