Week 34 Update Saturday, August 23, 2008
Tomorrow is my baby shower. I am VERY excited about it. You see, this will be the first time I am going to have a party thrown just for me! I was born on my mom's birthday so all my birthday parties were planned with my mother in mind also. I know it sounds kind of selfish, but I don't know. I like the thought of it being my special day. The only thing is that I am nervous! What if I say something stupid or do something dumb? What if I don't look excited enough? Oh, and my baby is due 1 week after my and my mom's bday. We are aiming for September 26th. I hope! I hope! I hope!
I got a lot moved into my house today. There is a lot more to do! I have before and after pictures of what we have done to the house. It's coming along nicely. I can't wait to be all the way done with it. My mother has done so much I couldn't never repay her. My brother in law, Rob, has rewired the whole house, installed a shower, replaces a gas stove to an electric, redid a lot of plumbing, and so much more! I bet you he's put in $500.00 easy and hasn't asked for a penny. I will give him some though.
I have been very swollen from my legs to my toes. It's been so bad that some days I could hardly walk. I went to the doctors just to be checked for preclamsia (sp?) and luckily there is no signs of it! My sugar levels have been awesome! My little girl is moving around like crazy. I can't believe that she is almost here! I am starting to freak out a little. Am I ready!? I have no idea. Am I excited? Yes!
My internet is being shut off August 31. This is 1 month before my baby is due. I will update when I can. I won't have internet in the new house, just to make sure I have money for the bills! I don't know how long it will last. I have had internet since 1998 and a little nervous about not having. Yep, I am addicted.
Well, I have to go put my huge feet up and relax a bit. I want to get a little more packing done. I will be taking pictures at the baby shower for all those people who have asked about pregnancy shots! I haven't taken any because I feel so uncomfortable in my body. Most women take pictures and keep track. I, on the other hand, just can't seem to do it. However, I will post some of the shower and of me! Even if someone just today said, "Wow! You are huge! Are you having twins?" I wanted to smack her. I didn't.

Ah hon, you should definitely be taking pictures of yourself. Even if you never show another soul! This is a unique time in your life :-)

Relax at you shower and have fun. I have to agree with noter #1 as well. Some outfits are just awful.
Congrats again on the new house, I can't wait to see pics. Don't over do it with moving though.
Wow, only 6 more weeks. That's crazy I started reading just after you found out. I can't wait to see her. I hope you can update.

I hope you had a great baby shower! I just had mine the Sunday before yours (I'm 33.5 weeks) and it was the best day. Hope you got everything you needed :o) [ChaoticResolve] [p]
