Week 21 Update Thursday, May 29, 2008
I am over half way through the pregnancy. I will be 22 weeks on Saturday. I still feel pretty good. However, I have had some more acid reflux. I have also been really tired lately. I don't feel the baby move very much. I really hope that this is normal. I just figured I'd be feeling her a lot more. However, if I want to feel the baby move all I have to do is sit on the couch and have Felix sit on my lap. The baby kicks every single time. It's like they have a bond already! It makes me smile every time.
Baby Name: My whole life I grew up knowing my baby girl would be named Nicole. That's the name I was supposed to be named. I would have been called Nicky. Nikki? Anyway, ever since I have been pregnant I have been considering Lillian (Lily). I am 99% sure that's going to be her name. The middle name I am considering is Grace. However, my dad wants me to give her the middle name Pearl. That's my middle name. Ugggh. I know. Horrible. However, it's my Grandmother's (dad's mom) middle name. What should I do? Lillian Grace or Lillian Pearl?
I made an offer on the house! The best part is I held my ground. The house was listed at 59,900. I offered 51,000 plus closing cost. (4388.00) The realitor wanted me to offer more, but I went against his suggestion. Knowing that the house has been on the market since October 2007 and has had NO offers, I really think I made the right decision. I got a really good interest rate too. 5.6%! I really think they will counter offer, but if they do I am not going to take the house. Hopefully they will change their minds. It's an estate home that they live 2 hours away! Hopefully they are just willing to get rid of it! I'll see what happens! It's got a really nice back yard that I can't wait to sit in. Yep. I haven't had any grass in my life in 15 years. I need grass!
