Aaron's Birthday Party in In the Meadow

On Saturday we had Aaron’s birthday party. It was at a place with bounce houses and games. We ordered a birthday package with pizza and drinks. I brought a birthday cake. The kids each got tokens to use on the games. It was a fun time. They boys who came were Aaron’s friends from school, hockey, and baseball. Aaron has a pass to come back to the bounce place. After the party he was tired. It’s a good workout. Later we all went out for ice cream.

The kids had Friday and Monday off for a long Memorial Day weekend. On Monday the kids were in our town’s Memorial Day parade. Timmy and Aaron marched with Boy Scouts and Kayla marched with her dance school. It was good weather and the parade was in the morning, so it was not too hot.

Otherwise we didn’t do too much over the long Memorial Day weekend. We went to the park a few times and the kids played in the backyard wading pool.
