Memorial Day Cook Out in New Diary

I had a good day today. Apartment building had a cookout. Actually, it was in the community room. But we had cook out type of foods. I’m kind of proud of myself. I think I spent most of the day outside my apartment. I actually said hello to a couple of people. The cook out or party was of great help to me. It got me thinking of something else besides NOOKS and my impending financial problems. Fiancé played music and I enjoyed listening to her music. I had a good time.

While I was at the party I made a decision. I am not going to think about NOOKS or my books. I am not going to worry about finances.. I wasted enough time worrying about that shit. I think it is time to move on. There is more to life than books. I still plan on buying myself a NOOK but I’m not going to be thinking about it 24/7 Life is too short.

I’m going to enjoy the evening by chilling out and watching tv. Tomorrow I’m going out to a doctor’s appointment. So that will be another outing.
