In Star Trek, Next Generation, there was a lounge, 10 Forward. In that lounge, there was a barmaid, Guinan, played by Whoopi Goldberg.
I just read there had been a famous speakeasy in NYC run by a Texas Guinan. Coincidence, I think NOT.
