Memorial Day in New Diary

I am going to a cook out today. People in my apartment building are together for a
Memorial Day party in the community room. My fiancé is doing most of the work. She is going to make iced, cook, set up and will probably be responsible for cleaning. I told her yesterday that she is becoming the Go To Girl in the building. Anybody who wants to do something in the building will go to will go rto you and you can do all the work.

I went to the B&B website last night. I found out this NOOK I’m buying next month will be more expensive With taxes it will cost $104 something. Plus they are offering a one year protection plan. for $1`9.99., Given my past experiences with NOOKs I think I should buy this plan. So this NOOK will cost me $123.00

Here is my budget : Rent $241.00 Comcast $146.54 RAC $111.00. B&N 123. Food $80 Laundry $20 Meds !0.00 Netflix $7.99 Finance Charges $6.18 I believe that is a total of $745.71 I will just have enough to cover expenses. I usually get a bus pass .I like to take my finance out for dinner once or twice a month. But I wont be able to do that if I get a NOOK. Hell with it I’m getting a NOOK.

I wont get my check until next month. It is going to long week. Fiancé was telling me the other day there is more to life than books. She is right. I could catch up with my housework. I could sit outside and try to talk with people. I could go for a walk I have tv and Netflix. I could spend a lot of time watching television shows. I could be doing a lot of things but I would rather be reading and spending time with my fiancé .
