My turn again in Day to day life from a woman that turned 60 in Oct 2014 and who lives on a farm and Retired on January 2, 2016. I plan to do more sewing, work outside in the yard and just enjoy my retirement.

Ok. Sister ended up staying with Dad last night. She, her husband and son will be traveling to hang out with her step son and daughter a bit later. Brother and his family will gather to have a BBQ later too. Brother says he will invite Dad to come over, but doesn’t expect him to come. I don’t either. I’ll leave here in about 40 minutes to take my turn and see how he’s doing. He does great for awhile and then the odd things start coming out of his mouth. I expect we’ll take him to the doctor on Tues. Brother says there is no point in taking him anywhere during the holiday weekend as the nearest hospital will transfer him to the VA and then have to wait until Tues when his Primary doctor returns to work. He’s right, however if dad gets any more bizarre, I’ll either take him myself to the hospital or call 911. This is SO HARD to know what to do. He had been doing pretty good all afternoon and evening and then when my sister and BIL were getting his dog taken care of the evening, they were apparently making a lot of racket on the enclosed carport. Sister said when they came in from the carport dad was wanting to get his gun. :( Not a good thing. So the saga will continue. The 3 day weekend is getting longer. I’m getting very little done but think I have our laundry caught up. That is 1st on the primary of things to do.
So my dear dear friend who will come on the 6th of June. WARNING!! Even if things get better I seriously doubt the house will. Hopefully things will settle before she arrives and we know what is going on and what to do. Prayers and good thoughts please.
