And here is my meal from last night

I had no mushrooms so I added chickpeas which were delicious - as was the glass of wine.
I watched the Eurovision Song Contest on and off - and the results were coming through as SW… came home - so we stayed up to see who won - Sweden of course - actually a very clever song and presentation - and the voting in the main went its usual way - Scandinavians voted for Scandinavians, and old Russian Satellites gave their votes in the main to Mother Russia - but given the tensions now there was less of a bloc vote - and while Russia was in the lead for some time it was clear the sympathy in Vienna, where it was held, was for Sweden.
I would guess they did not want to give Putin anything more to crow about
Needless to say the UK came fourth from last - no one likes us - and Germany and Austria got no votes at all.
But Australia came in fifth (I think) - they certainly broke up the monotony and monopoly.
This is another holiday weekend - although I suspect many people do not realise it is Whitsun - and certainly the weather here is back to cool winds and showers - still it is spring - so let’s celebrate spring with an Elvgren pinup - I was going to make a joke about planting one’s seed........
