EDIT: Okay, so, I think I want to modify this thing. Ask me a question. Anything. I’ll answer it honestly. And you don’t have to answer my nonsense if I return a question to you. Also, I’ve got someone cough who keeps asking for more video-blogging from me. I did a couple video poems. Does anyone actually prefer me answer through text or.. through a video? Wouldn’t you rather me answer with well contemplated and concise text? Videos are so.. so..
I guess I gave away where I stand on that, haha.
So! Ask me anything. I’ll post it later and answer it later.
And consensus rules. Video or text?
Return to your regularly scheduled programming.
Until next time.
Same bat time.
Same bat channel.
============================
I was reading over one of like 5 entries I had labelled on my OD’s Front Page as “Entries of Great Significance” and this was at the bottom underneath them all. It was originally posted May 12, 2005! So literally this is a decade old and still might be fun to play. :)
(I was playing Halo 2 at the time, had tickets to see Episode III, and I was listening to Maroon 5’s “She Will Be Loved” .. whoa, time warp.)
Now.. Copy and pasting the entry as it was written!
The Question Game
Honesty.
One of my favorite games to play with someone I’ve just encountered is called ‘Honesty.’ It’s something I started so many years ago when I first started really socializing. When you meet someone new there’s often this air of formality in that one wants to impress.
Those that know me at all understand that I don’t much care for that. I’m not a fan of masks at all. With me what you see is what you get, and so this game was a way to break that trend of wanting to present the best image possible and just get to know the other person in an honest and open way.
While I’ve had the opportunity to converse with a great many of you who read my diary, I have not done so with everyone. So those of you I’ve spoken with probably already know how Honesty (aka The Question Game) works, but here is the rules for those that are unaware.
We take turns asking one another questions. There is no topic off limits so you can ask someone anything you want regardless of how trivial or how personal. Once a question is asked of you, you must answer it completely, honestly, and to that person’s satisfaction. Also, you have to answer a question that is asked of you, thus no wimping out on a tough question.
Well, I figured it might be fun to try this through my diary. Never done it before.
So if you’re curious, you can ask me a question regardless of topic and I’ll answer you, but for every question you ask me I get to ask one in return…
I’m typically a very private person, so use this opportunity wisely if you so desire. :)
May you always find your smile.
Current Music: “She Will Be Loved” by Maroon 5
Also: Hung out with Bryan and Jordan the other day and played Halo2 online.. much fun was had. Anyway, got my advanced tickets to see Episode III at 12:01 am next Wednesday night.. first show.. can’t wait. (If you don’t know what Episode III is seek immediate help.) The lightsaber duel between Anakin and Obi is supposed to last 12 minutes which will make it the longest fight scene in cinema history.. omgosh! I love Friday the 13th. :)
Update: 3:35pm Friday the 13th
Some have had trouble coming up with a question or questions. That’s one thing I’ve never quite understood. For me, I’ve always considered my time incredibly valuable and I don’t share it with just anyone. I’ve discussed how important time and thoughts are in this entry.
Anyway, so if I find someone worth my attention and intriguing I want to know everything about them. Consider that if you should become friends with someone, and I am talking actual legitimate friends not simple acquaintances here, then do you not wish to treat that friend the best way possible? Well, what better way to treat them the best than to know them as well as you possibly can at that very moment. Questions and knowledge allow for that. The more I know about someone the better equipped I am to deal with them in any given situation. I’m insatiably curious, and I never run out of questions.
If you’re interested in someone I think it’s easy to find the questions. That’s just my opinion.
Now, I figured it might help if I share what I’ve been asked so far. So here you go, these are the questions I’ve been asked to this point (but remember I’m answering these to only the person who asks me it, I won’t be posting my answers in my diary):
What do you want to accomplish the most?
What three objects would you save if your house was burning down?
If you could cure one disease/ailment, which would you choose?
What fabric to you most enjoy seeing on a woman?
What would cause you to stop associating with someone?
What’s your favorite color?
Where’s the one place in the world you’d like to visit?
Do you want children? How many?? Picked any possible names???
If you could have one super power, what would it be?
If you had a theme song, what would it be?
If your life was made into either a book or movie, what would the title be?
What is the happiest moment, the happiest experience of your life and do you imagine anything that could possibly top it?
Update: 6:40pm Sunday the 15th
What must some one do to earn your complete trust?
How many people have you ever loved in your lifetime?
If you could gain anything you desired right now, what would you want?
When alone with the person which do you prefer to be, which arouses you more to be, the sub or the dom?
Which religion do you prescribe to if any?
If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be? And Why?
What do you really want? I love asking people this question because you get such broad answers… so, what do you really want?
