That’s how many days it has been raining here. Flooding has become a problem along the creeks and rivers, of course. I’m hoping for a rainbow soon.

Otherwise, life goes on at our house. We may get a break in showers later today. I hope so because we are about to need groceries and I hate to have to send Papa out in the rain. He’s so good about doing the errands, but who needs to get drenched?

I will be working at the computer today, between laundry loads. ( It’s about 8 feet from my computer chair to my washer and dryer, so these two jobs can be done on a multi-tasking level.) Gotta get my newsletter for Fab 50’s done early since we go next week to Montana for our annual visit to our daughter & family.

My younger granddaughter, a theatre design major, has a “gig” designing costumes for Fort Peck Summer Theater’s opening production. She’s participated in the cast there every summer since she was a very little girl, and now she’s coming home to actually help in the production. We will get to be there for the opening night. How fun!

After the first weekend, she’ll head back to her college town for her summer job and her new life off campus. She has a couple more years of school and then Look Out World!

Can you tell, I’m a proud grandma?
