Emails in A Day in the Life of Me

Hi Xxxx,
I hope you don’t mind me contacting you from my personal email, I just have a few questions in regards to being transferred to Bedford, and would rather keep this interaction between you and I.

ManagerA told me this would be a temporary thing, but was unsure as to how long. I am getting the feeling that it may not be, can you confirm as to if this is a temporary move, or if I am being transferred permanently?
My main reason for asking is because, as you may or may not be aware, I am the sole income provider in my home, and traveling to and from on 35(ish) hrs a week at my current pay rate is extremely tight, as in that in the long run, it will cut into my funds for other important things such as groceries and bills. It is a situation that sadly I will be in for quite some time as the current wait time for D to be issued a work visa is 17 months AFTER our paper work is filed and approved. And we are still waiting to for it to be filed.

Also, I am a bit confused as to why I wasn’t asked about this and the fact that I was not given an option, mainly for the above reason. Though I am given to understand that there is extenuating circumstances around it.
I enjoy my job, and have learned a lot over the almost 2 years I have been with the company, and do not wish to leave, but if circumstances (ie hours vs pay) do not allow access to my work, I may not have a choice in the matter.

This so far is the email that I have composed to send to my DM. I’m giving it another week to give or add to it, before I send it off.
