New broom... in blackpropaganda

Well, not in terms of politics here. All the main ministers are back in place as if nothing has happened - but now the Tories can carry through all the legislation they could not get through when in coalition. I fear for some groups in society.

No - this is the new broom

out in the garden and giving out a wonderful scent in the sunshine (yep - sunshine!).
I wish I could capture that smell which is quite heavy and fragrant.

Behind it the twisted branches are a fig tree - with fruit on - although rarely do we get some we can eat.
Today the world is fecund - a wonderful word - which totally describes the feeling spurting growth.
It looks like it might be time, in the present circumstances, to cultivate my garden.
