Well that was interesting.... in A Day in the Life of Me

Went to work yesterday, was an nice quiet morning, got some sales, did some stock, then the manager came in and my whole day changed....

I am being switched to another store in attempts to A) try and help turn the store around and hopefully boost the manages will to live lol and B) give a certain employee the chance to turn themselves around before their attitude costs them their job. Apparently the DM here and head office are getting tired of the complaints about them. Finally.

I honestly can’t stand said employee. I have had the “pleasure” of working with them before and the attitude that rolls off says alot. That and the fact that I heard enough to know about the back stabbing and two facing that happens at that location, mostly due to said employee.

I am going there as of Monday. My manager apparently sees it in me to do this. She doesn’t want me going, and has apparently fought to keep me in my home store, but says it may be a great chance for me to as I will be stepping up. As it currently goes i am a 3rd key. I will be moving up to 2n d key and will as such be a bit higher up the ladder.... with the option to go higher if this works out.
This is currently temporary. I guess alot depends on the other employee.
I honestly do not want to go to this store… lol its in a mall that is so dead I am surprised its still there. My other job had a location there that I had worked shifts in years back, and they finally closed up at the end of February.
I need to stay positive. This could be a good thing.
