Week 14 Update Wednesday, April 09, 2008
I am finally starting to "show." I would have shown earlier if I wasn't so fat. Ugh. I have gained 15 pounds! GOOD LORD! I can't help it. Every time I feel sick I eat. I can honsetly say I am not eating nearly as much as I did in the beginning so hopefully my weight gain will slow down a little now!
There really aren't a lot of changes since last week. My cats are acting A LOT different around me. Sophie is constantly by me now and she is meowing a lot at me. She never used to do this. Not sure if it has to do with the pregnancy or not.
One thing that I do know has to do with the pregnancy is my emotions. Wow! What a rollar coaster ride. I can cry at the drop of a hat. Everything is so extremely beautiful to me. Everything makes me tear up.
I have the baby's room all cleaned out. I put the crip mostly up. I don't have all the pieces and I don't have the mattress yet. Other than that, not much new going on. Feeling better though. (Whew!)

Oh, the roller coaster of emotions is just beginning, my friend! It's amazing the things that can tear you up, isn't it?

I'm glad you're feelin' better!
Obviously I've never experienced that emotional roller coaster first-hand BUT I've lived with a pregnant woman so I'm well aware of how extreme they can be. (They'll pass - eventually - just like the morning sickness)

:( they say you should not have cats around when you have small children because they like to lay near the babies face and can suphocate a baby, and it is not healthy for an expecting mother. How do you trade one for the other? Cats can sense the baby coming. :) [My Dream] [p]
