I have used my..er..condom in blackpropaganda

I have voted - my vote will not make a difference to the great scheme of things - but I have made my choice - and made a kind of statement.

Also I have walked in the forest in the sunshine which was wonderful - with the bright new green of the leaves and the birdsong - I thought what a great short film the walk would make as you listen and look

And the two hour film of the canal trip (see previous entry) had over 600,000 viewers and lots of positive responses - you can have too many soap operas.

The broadcasters have been going to town on the VE Day celebration - a day early - but the date of the German unconditional surrender - and anyway - they will be full of post-election politics tomorrow - when Scotland breaks away from the UK etc etc etc

And tonight - Monkfish with a nice Fiano Sicilian wine - then as we wait for the results we will open a bottle of bubbles - cava or prosecco - I suspect to drown our sorrows - the man with the condom on his head may return
