I made it back to the pool yesterday. It was a fairly cool day, only in the mid nineties.
It was Mom’s 78th birthday yesterday. She wanted to go to Olive Garden to eat. So we headed out about 4pm. After a half hour on the freeway we arrived to be seated with no wait. Nice. I had a soup and chicken alfredo. Mom had the salad and a shrimp something or other. We brought plenty of food home with us.
Even with the pool time and the going out to eat I still managed to watch three movies online: “St. Vincent”, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt. 1” and “Wild”. And now I’m out of movie ideas. I went looking for something to watch and found this: http://www.wildaboutmovies.com/ . I had no idea how many movies are out there. It is ridiculous. It’s kind of a shame that that much money is spent not to make good movies but spent in the hope of making a profit. I don’t get it.
So, I’ll take all recommendations into consideration. I’m sure there are some good movies out there.
Jassy called last evening and we talked for a bit. She said the van is running fine. She seemed happy to be driving it. I’m just glad the thing is finally running and not just sitting. It’s not good for a vehicle to just sit. And that poor van has just sat for years.
It rained last night and it is cloudy outside right now. And about fifteen degrees cooler than it was yesterday.
Eighteen days and a wake up after today and I’ll be on a plane headed home. Jassy reminded me how many are left when she called.
Oh yeah, 9356 movies released in 2014. That’s the number I found. That would be 26 movies a day you’d have to watch to see them all. Impossible numbers.
