amsterdam again. indonesian food place funny story. in The Wonderland Years: 2015. Done.

yeah so. this was interesting. when we got to the Indonesian food place the hostess didn’t show us to our seats. they just said something like ‘please go to that round table’. I’ve never had that happen. and there wasn’t a sign that said ‘seat yourself’. I liked that they were direct as it slightly bothers me when people are like ‘can you please turn on the light?’. um well I have a few answers whenever someone says ‘can’............which isn’t the point of this entry and also then i’d be tangenting.

oh so funny story. my mom I were at the dutch grocery store an the clerk sAID said something in dutch and then a bunch of people that were in line [or ‘in the que’ as they call it over there. well it’s something about a ‘queu’] went over to her. stand thing. where the cash register’s at. and I told my mom something about how the lady’s open. and my mom goes ‘you speak dutch?’ no actually I don’t. but I’ve been in enough stores to know what it means when people in line go over to the clerk’s stand. thing.

oh wow. so when we were at the gardens I saw a person sitting on a bench. well I thought it was a massive blue lettuce leaf. and so I go “there’s a blue thing!” and my mom went “that’s a person. sitting on a bench”. we watched tv in English. we watched some show on intuition and another on the history of food. and that live free or die show. whenever the tv was turned on it was always super loud.
the weather was in the 60’s, 50’s so it was cold to me. I was considering taking my long black eddie baurer [coat] I’ve had for 4 hrs. [er ‘hrs.’. yrs. i’ve had it for 4 yrs.*] but it would’ve been too big for my suitcase, so. [i had a small suitcase]. I’ve recently noticed it’s super light too. the coat i mean. that’s why I don’t like comforters they’re too heavy and I move around in my sleep. that’s one reason people don’t like cats. I love cats. um. my mom said we were only taking carryons and then she decided to check the baggage. I somewhat don’t like that cause I like to know where my stuff is instead of in some vague plane compartment. the problem I have w/ business class is that they don’t allow you to have your luggage by you. like whereas w/ um. well they call it economy now you can put your luggage under the seat in front of you. your one bag I mean not the entirety of your luggage.
