My darling daughter booked me a flight home for the 23rd of May.
I’m ready. And more important, I believe Mom is ready.
The first triple digit high temp is due this weekend. There was a really nice weekend of desert rain last weekend.

Forgot to mention I’ve finished reading “Revival” by Stephen King, “Saint Odd” by Dean Koontz, and “The World of Ice & Fire” by George R.R. Martin, Elio M. Garcia Jr. and Linda Antonsson.
Today it was 99 degrees. Tomorrow may break 100.*
