I had completely forgotten about PB until Sunflour reminded me of it. Thank you, my friend. I’ve missed you and missed this type of community. I can’t remember the last time I wrote here - I believe just after OD closed, so it’s been a while. The biggest news - Z is getting married on May 31st. He’s still at Purdue getting his doctorate in physics. His fiance will have her PharmD degree in three weeks. They have leased a place just outside of Indianapolis and will live there while she completes a two-year residency program. He still has five more years so hopefully they’ll move closer to Purdue once she’s finished. The wedding will be here in Texas at an outside venue here in the Hill Country. The other big thing is that I started a new job on April 1st. My main attorney left in December. I knew it was coming and waited until he left before I started looking. Thankfully, he knew of the issues at my old office and was more than happy to put out feelers and assist with my search for a new job. I’m back at a larger firm. There are pros and cons to both large and small firms - I prefer the larger size. The only downside is my travel time is longer, which I expected. The upside is that I take the train so I’m not fighting the awful Austin traffic going downtown. I have an option to change up my hours a bit which I may do once I get settled in.
