'Good old fashioned sucking' in blackpropaganda

Interesting wine tasting last because
a) there were only 14 of us instead of over 20 and there were still two bottles of each wine for tasting
b) the person taking the tasting was a woman in her early 30s who was a little nervous - but very well prepared - it is quite unusual to have a woman doing it for a firm
c) she was very attractive in her black dress, black tights and black short boots
d) the wines were all from one Chilean company - both white and red - and were all interesting - so there were a lot of orders given the reasonable prices
e) I was sitting next to a chap I know who is very loud, cannot stop talking, gets louder and more voluble as he drinks more and does not do irony! So I took the piss a lot
f) in discussing the way in which wine was removed from big earthenware casks she said by ‘good old fashioned sucking’. Of course, she meant by a pipe by syphoning - but regular readers will be aware that my mind moves in mysterious ways - and a lovely picture came into my mind of Victorian pornography - although I don’t think there is any ‘new-fangled sucking’ going on.
g) it was hard to concentrate for a little while after this - please remember how much wine was being drunk - needless to say I was not spitting but swallowing!
