Monday Madness in In the Kingdom of Suzu

Monday madness started off being a rainy day.

Made myself a chocolate shake for breakfast. The insert top of the blender was missing
ok, I can use something else for that. As it is blending up, a big chunk of ice, I think, pops up. I empty the drink into a cup and take a sip. Hmmm,there is a hard sliver of ice. I spit it out, looks like ice, so I drink more but it is very grainy with what seems to be chunks of ice. Have you guessed? Yep! The insert to the top must have fallen into the blender, I did see it and blended it up!

Then, the lights flicker a couple of times, the power ends up going out. I can take a shower but forget about blow drying my hair. I take my shower and Lo and behold the power comes on so I can blow dry my hair.

Finally, on the way to work, all the traffic lights are out due to an ash can on a light pole blowing up and traffic is stalled everywhere! Surprisingly I was only about 10 minutes late for work.

Last but not least, I go to a local restaurant for take out soup and when I get back to the office see that they gave me the wrong soup! No time to take it back and i almost did order that kind but opted for the old stand by of pasta fagioli. This was chicken pasting which seemed to pasta fagioli with chicken so all was well.
