It’s been a soggy week here on the front range. Some snow and lots of rain. Good Spring moisture. And we definitely need it. Lots of snow in the mountains this winter, but the plains have been under severe fire danger for a few weeks already. Looks like this next week will also be wet. Once can only stay inside for so long, and I guess I’m going to have to just let myself get wet and go on with life.

I was supposed to entertain my small bridge group on Thursday, but it was snowing so hard at nine a.m. I called it off. Friday was the day the art group meets across the creek, but it was raining cats & dogs and nobody wanted to drag all their stuff across the bridge in the deluge, so that didn’t happen.

We had lunch plans with our son Friday, too, but he got busy meeting with his contractors and had to cancel. They are planning a big project, redoing their kitchen and bathrooms, and it is taking a lot of their time. Sure will be lovely when they get it done.

Nothing much going on with me otherwise. Lots of reading, Our big television set died so the small one from the bedroom got moved out into the living room. I guess a new one will arrive in a day or two. I generally go to bed early, turn the news on and fall asleep before it’s over, so I have been having trouble going to sleep. I made some changes with lamps and got it fixed so I have enough light to read in bed now…can’t remember how long it’s been since I did that. Kind of like it.

Today we are going to the theater with our Fabulous Friends and then for dinner. It’s not supposed to rain too much…
