Monday 5:20AM in Day to day life from a woman that turned 60 in Oct 2014 and who lives on a farm and Retired on January 2, 2016. I plan to do more sewing, work outside in the yard and just enjoy my retirement.

A Monday. They gotta come to get to Friday. Rain has just arrived. Downpour actually. Glad I’m still inside and not driving. Will be taking J to the Dr in a bit. Office doesn’t open til 8 and Dr doesn’t start seeing patients until 9. He has congestion and a cough. Wheezing and badly. He isn’t thrilled about missing work and going, but he has no choice. I’ve given him OTC meds but believe he needs some with a punch.

Dad going to VA to the Doctor today today. Dude is going to take him today. I will take him the next time which I need to check the schedule cause I think it is Wed or Thurs this week.

Did get Dad’s tax stuff ready for the accountant. Will take them over after J sees the doctor. Guess I won’t be going to work at all today. But they’ll be fine. Gotta take care of family and family business.

Spindle. Think that is what Dude called it on the riding mower. Broke. He will pick up one this week sometime at the Family Center place. And new blades too I suspect.

Dude bought himself a used 0 zero mower. It is huge and has two handles instead of a steering wheel. I tried it out and loved it. New ones cost from $3000 and up. Won’t be getting one of them. Well, unless he runs across a deal like he got. Think he paid $1000 for it. Needed and needs a few miner repairs, but it is a horse. Still not one for hills though. Bummer. Think it could flip over faster than my regular one on a hill so not impressed with that little flaw.

Best get off here and start the morning routine even if if it isn’t normal.
