I was walking home last night. Thats a given, since I don’t have a car-, but thats not why I’m here. I only stated that bit of information so y-..you know, so I could set the scene and shit.
I had two cigarettes left. One of which being halfway smoked.
I seen these tweekers coming towards me. You know how you tell they’re tweekers, Chief?-, By lookin from the dorsal to the tail.
No, don’t ask me for any cigarettes, DO NOT. “Yo can I buy that cigarette off you, bro?”
‘..It’s halfway gone, are you serious?’ “Yeah, for real.” And he takes out a handful of change. ‘Uh..alright, here.’ THREE TWEEKERS BOUGHT HALF A CIGARETTE OFF ME FOR ABOUT 60CENTS.
I actually felt bad, for the most part I usually always give people cigarettes.
I said ‘I’m sorry I don’t have one for each of you’, and they responded with ‘We appreciate it more than that change, so thanks.’ I guess it’s one of those things that makes you have a glimmer of hope for humanity at large. Well for me anyway.
Oh, I also rolled my first blunt yesterday. It was a piner, but it did’nt fall apart or run.
Do I believe in karma or fate? I dunno, but some of that shit better start coming back my way. Good shit, that is.
