Further Tests - Thinking Good Thoughts in Everyday Ramblings

So the wonderful women’s health team (the nurse had partially lavender hair and many tattoos and knows Reiki) was unable to complete the biopsy this morning and have referred me for additional tests next week. What they were able to see looked good and they think the discomfort I have been experiencing has to do with the same structural reason they couldn’t complete the test.
The senior doctor, just lovely, says that sometimes these random occurrences do happen and it is a mystery. I am going with that hypothesis. It is a passing mystery.
My mouth is much better now and I see that specialist the day before the ultrasound next week.
My energy level is better too. I may just be able to let my inner pony loose this weekend. That would be so nice.
Because of all of this discomfort over the last few weeks I have not done my taxes yet and that is mostly what I will be doing this weekend.
Yesterday afternoon I was congratulating myself on the fact that the cats seemed to be making progress in terms of managing their neurotic behavior around food. Particularly Carlo. He crowds the front door when I come home from anywhere and starts asking for food in a very, umm, demonstrative, in one’s face with big eyes way soon after.
Yesterday he didn’t do that, it was more like, oh hi mom, I am taking a nap now…
Ha! Little did I know until evening that the wily pair had managed to get the large unopened reserve bag of dry food that I had up on the very top of the top of the cabinets in the kitchen open.
They must have worked on this as a team all morning.
Once I realized this and got the bag down I had to sequester them in the bedroom until I could get what was left in the bag in glass containers and carefully stowed inside a cabinet with a chair blocking the door.
Neither one of them got sick so I am glad of that, and to know that they do, in fact, actually have a bottom and won’t gorge themselves ill or silly is good information They clearly would like a lot more food than I am feeding them to keep them at a healthy weight for their size.
Very clearly. :)
Anyone want two handsome adorable loveable wild thing brats?
I apparently have an affinity for them…

Lots of good thoughts going to you from here! I'm glad it all looked good. That's a relief. Again, hard to wait for answers, though. At least your energy is returning.
I laughed at the clever cats. Simon looooooved bread, and was so ridiculously smart that it was almost impossible to keep him away from it without storing it in the microwave. Which is what my dad did. I had some rolls in a zip-lock bag not long ago, and instead of putting them in the microwave, which we actually use, I put them in a high cabinet above the stove which I thought would be impossible for him to get to. When I got home that night, there they were in the floor, holes chewed through the bag, rolls all chewed up. He'd somehow managed to get up onto the hood of the stove and from there get into the cabinet. I still can't figure out how that was even possible!

I'm thinking good thoughts too!
Your cats are like one of my nephew's. Once when I was cat sitting he got in the cabinets and chewed thru one of those cardboardish containers of broth making a mess and eating it.

Amazingly they have not figured out how to open the cabinet doors yet. When they do I am in big trouble because they have figured out how to get the lids off pyrex containers and how to open cans with pull tops.

Oh goodness, cats add a whole new 3 dimensionality to naughtiness! Our great big lump of a dog WOULD but couldn't possibly manage to do the things your boys do! What entertainment! What lessons for you all! I do hope the next step in getting the pain sorted comes soon and with no worry to you . PS: I'd love those yoga things when you have time, but you have more to focus n just now.

I looked for an article I could link to but am not finding one just on nausea. It is hard to explain in a note. You want to make sure you don't eat for about an hour before you exercise, and just have a little water. And just experiment with what you eat before. Light things are best. You want to move your head slowly and deliberately through the movements. There is a lot of inner ear stuff going on. I would definitely bring this up with the teacher next time you take class. Hope that helps. I'll keep looking.

'passing mystery' is a good way to deal with it....and I hope all goes well. Cats are such great entertainment, aren't they? Beautiful tulip. hugs p
