It took a little time to work out Jungle was ‘forest’ but with the t (time) taken off and a tribe was ‘kin’ - as in family - and so the answer was FORESKIN

Just wanted to say!

There are two things depressing us at the moment.
One is the weather - which is always a topic of conversation - but it is just awful with gale force winds gusting at 60 mph and hail, sleet and rain showers packing in every 30 minutes or so. No wonder SW.. is asking why we aren’t in Spain - where is is C21 degrees and sunny! No real answer except we have things on here and expect the weather to be better. This is going to last for the week!

And the second? There is a General Election here in just over five weeks and the political campaigns started yesterday. The news media are full of the stuff spouted by the political parties and their leaders - much of it having very little basis in fact - and we have five weeks of this. because we have known when the date will be for five years all the channels are geared up with their coverage - charts etc - and lots of correspondents. There might be a bit of a break over Easter but I doubt it. The majority of people who are registered to vote and will vote have already made up their mind.
Promises are scattered like rose petals as if anyone knew what the future might hold. In certain areas things are likely to get worse - and there is little chance that politicians and ministers know what to do. If I see one more picture of David Cameron with his sleeves rolled up ‘doing the business’ I shall scream.
