It rained all day yesterday, severe thunderstorms last night and flood warnings are now out. blah! Snow possible Friday night. Probably not much but still.
Took yesterday off to work on taxes. Yes, I’m one of “those” people who wait until the last 30 days. Actually some years I have to request an extension but not this one nor last one. Yay. Still have to work dad’s up and he will give me a box of papers that only a small % will I need or use. Oh well. I am going to try and get his done this weekend and turn his stuff in to the accountant on Monday.
Daughter had a really good week at work last week. I’m so glad things are picking up for her and that is normal for spring and summer. This cold snap may slow it down for a few days, but it should pick back up when the temps warm back up.
I’m ready for planting. Have 3 bags of potting soil and will get more if needed. Hope I don’t but I might. Have lettuce, radish, and cherry tomato seeds plus cucumber, and flower seeds. Some of the flower seeds I have are from last years flowers and most of the time they do fine. Sometimes a bit smaller than the original plant but not always.
I’ve been sewing at times. Little things and not on the quilt. I just can’t seem to get into the quilt. I will and found some fabric I like for it this week so that may help.
Time to get J up for the start of the day. Take care and God Bless
