IT'S GOOD TO BE HOME
It feels so good to be home in my own bed. The bed I slept in was very inviting I wish I could say that I had a great time in Canada, but I didn't. My sister Celine did her own thing--mostly text messaging her boyfriend James, the rocket scientist. I'm very weary about this guy. Something just isn't right. She told me that she has never been to his apartment even though it is just down the street from her apartment. That's another big red flag!
On our return to the US border, we had our car searched all because I bought 3 tomatoes. I didn't realize that tomatoes were taboo. I have now been educated. The border patrol man was friendly, but I just didn't like him going through all our stuff. He was also wandering why we had so much food in our car. I told him that we were staying in a condo and when you leave you can't leave any food for the next person that occupies everything must be taken home.
On the way home I read the book "Orange is the New black" OUTLOUD in the car while my sister drove. I really enjoy reading out loud. I haven't done that since elementary school. It was really fun. I forget how much I love to read.
Any ways, I 'm so tired now and can barely keep my eyes opened. It's been a long day.
