I really do need to start coming here more often. I’m not sure where I left off, but since I came back from England, I had a bit more of mourning for my cousin which led right into winter. WINTER!! We have had so much snow this winter. I absolutely loved it and loved having the snowdays at home, but winter is now getting to me. I can’t wait for spring and can’t wait to have a yard and do yard work and garden. I picked out some decorations to decorate our small sun room and it will be lovely to be able to sit out there and sip on some coffee or (for me at this moment tea). It will be spring inspired. Most recently I found out I am pregnant!!! I am 10 weeks and feel a bit sick. The morning sickness I think will be more manageable when the weather starts getting nicer. I also can’t wait to start walking more regularly. Anyway, here are some pictures… enjoy and I hope to not be a stranger and update more regularly.
Here I am in action, shoveling in our first big snow storm. I had several more! I was fun and we shoveled off and on all day long.

St. Patrick’s Day party with friends. It was my first time seeing these particular girls in a couple months so I decided to tell that night that I was pregnant. The girl in the black dress is my very good friend Vicky. She and I have been friends since we were in third grade and she is pregnant as well. She and I usually talk every Monday afternoon on our way home from work. I love that we are going through the same thing and are sharing this special time together.

I put up some Command Strips in my closet behind my clothes and decided to hang my pocket books there. It was an easy and fun project and feel good that they are all “hanging” in spots that don’t take up any other space in my closet. There is enough room between the wall and my clothes that they won’t fall off either.

This past weekend we also went to Macy’s because we had some gift cards left over from my bridal shower. We didn’t want to use them until after we bought a house. Last summer and autumn were focused on painting and buying furniture. I can’t wait to start again and complete some more rooms this spring, summer and fall. As I said before winter has really been getting to me so I thought some retail therapy was in order. I bought a nice knife set, a couple more place settings of plates, attachments for my Kitchen Aid – the pasta maker and the ice cream maker and a 3 inch mattress pad for our bed. We still have some more gift cards, but that was a good start. I want to save up and buy a new bedroom set, however, the kind of bed I want I can’t find. I’d like to find something with a low headboard because of our gables upstairs. I really liked this one bed that was on display.
The knives, I chose the set all the way to the left.

That’s about it. I hope to be back soon.
