Friday evening after the AA Meeting Doris went for coffee. It was a very relaxing time and we watched the swirling snow silently seemed to hush the entire universe. We started discussing what we were wearing to the Wedding next Month and she informed me that she a great assembly to wear of shoes and dress. She told me she will be so sophisticated in it as is is almost a formal gown. She is so excited.
Saturday the storm had come and gone by and it was a clear sunny day with temps of almost 50 degrees. It erased the evidence of the storm. Katie and Joey two of my grandkids dropped by for a visit and Rob. Marquette and myself took them to lunch. I spent most of the day and evening watching the NCAA Basketball games. So far I am holding onto second place with my Granddaughter Kelly in the lead by one correct pick nut I have an edge in that I have the potential for score more points.
Today the Dishwasher Repair man came by and installed a new valve. When he turned on the water it leaked very badly. He was so mad and was ready to order a new one and he was apologizing all over the place until he suddenly stopped in mid apology. He said ” I couldn’t have ” but he swapped the valves and sure enough he had installed the old one. I gained a lot of respect for him then when he actually considered that he had erred and fixed it.
