Goss Moor Nature Reserve.
It was Lola’s class to day at the Screech Owl Sanctuary, the classes take place in a field next to the sanctuary, the area is in the Goss Moor Nature Reserve. With an hour on my hand, and a good spring day for a walk; there was a lovely blue sky and a chill in the air.
Riders passing the Screech Owl Sanctuary.
The car park at the Screech Owl Sanctuary is one of several around a seven mile walk, I walk about a mile and I enjoyed it; of course having a camera with me dose slow my progress. The road from the car park has a bridge over the A30, there is a lot of noise from the traffic edger to get some where.
On the other side of the bridge the road becomes a single track road with passing places.
Adjacent to the road was the rail line from Newquay, there are two manual crossing along the road, each had very strict instructions in using the crossing; but by the amount creeper grown in and round the gates I think they are not much these day’s!
There is less than two seconds between these images, the train seemed to arrive out of nowhere; hence the strict instructions!
Between the railway and road there was a ditch, down in the water were sine’s of growth, else where there was little sine of new growth, the trees still in there winter state.
As I walk back to the car park the horses in the field keep an eye on me, should I be a threat they would be off.
