……and may it last!

I sit here for the first time without my heavy jumper since Christmas, if there is such as a true spring day in the first week of March today was it! I had my coat on when I was in Perranprorth this morning, more I think by habit than taking notice of the weather, of course I didn’t zip it up trying not to been seen as an elder gent who didn’t cast of their vest until mid August; and puts it in again two days latter!

This afternoon I stayed in, it was my and the vacuum cleaner verse the dust, still with the jumper on a chair, and just as well as getting into all the corners it is hard work; when your hooovering there seems to be at least six corners in what had been an average room! Now sitting in front of the Mac with the light slapping away, it still feels comfortable so it could be a while until I feel the need!

Our Spring Day.

I still recall a Sunday in February about 1970’ish, it was a freaky warn day, I walked in to Shrewsbury and through the Quarry ‘the towns grassy park’ I was about 19 or 20 and the Quarry was over flowing with the townspeople making the best of that out of place spring day.
