A sad and tragic story.... in blackpropaganda

I am glad to say things seem to be nearly back to normal in the area of the back and the neck - so rest has done its work - although now it feels like the area around my ears is full of cotton wool - clearly the incipient cold which has been a round for months has not gone away.

There is one story here which is totally tragic - a 16 year old girl went missing nearly two weeks ago in Bristol. It was a total mystery and there appeared to be no sightings - then some days ago a man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping - a couple of days later it was suspicion of murder. Other people were also brought in on suspicion of helping an offender.
Now the 28 year old man has been charged with murder - and his 21 year old girlfriend charged with aiding an abetting. He is in court today.
Clearly these are allegations - but, here is the twist - the man is the young woman’s step-brother who lived across the road from her boyfriend - and the worst part - that body parts have been found suggesting she was dismembered.
The ending of a young life (whoever did it) in such a brutal and obscene way is totally abhorrent - but the fact, known to the family for a long time, that one of them was alleged to be the murderer is almost impossible to contemplate. How does anyone cope in those circumstances?
