I suck at time management. I'll say that right up front. I suck at it. Like... REALLY suck at time management.
I work, but only a few hours a day. It doesn't help that my schedule is so scattered. I'll work from 9:30 to 10:00 then 11:30-12:00, then 2:00-2:30, then 3:30-4:00. So I have all these awkwardly timed breaks throughout the day, and that doesn't make life flow smoothly AT ALL.
I go to school, too. And I'm... oh, about 2 months behind on college course work.
Right now I'm writing this in the 20 minutes I have before I have to run off to a New Client Meeting, and then after that I have to drive 30 minutes to another client's house, and then after that I have to drive another 30-45 minutes to class (it depends on traffic.) Then I have class for 4 hours, and then I have to drive home and plug in my laptop and get to work on the course work I've fallen behind on.
Like I said, I suck at time management. Between clients today I DID manage to get one assignment done, and my dog actually got to go outside a few times for more than 10 minutes at a time. Poor guy just got neutered and he's not allowed to run around so I can't just let him outside in the pen alone; I have to walk him on a leash to keep him from pulling his incision open.
I have 17 minutes before I have to get going, and I have to use at least 5 of those to warm up the truck because it's freakin COLD outside today. I have a 20 year old truck and she gets really pissy when it's cold.
I came here to PB from OD, since a lot of my bookmarks ended up here. It's sad, leaving OD. I have used OD since 2004, and it's where I found comfort while deployed to Iraq. I have a lifetime membership at OD. I really though "life time" would mean MY life time, not whenever OD decided to die. The creator doesn't seem to want anything to do with it anymore, and there doesn't seem to be anyone else to take over for him, so OD is just falling apart. It's behind on technology, unable to keep up. It takes forever to load, and there are more and more bugs showing up. Like I said, it's sad.
I just remembered - I need to figure out when I plan on eating today. Yeah, I suck at time management THAT bad.
