I recently joined Kindle First which is kind of a club that allows you to read new books that are not on the shelves yet for $1.99. I picked Wreckage by Emily Bleeker and The One That Got Away by Simon Wood.

I have already read Wreckage which I gave 4 out of 5 stars. Or maybe should get 4.5 out of 5 stars. Yet no book will ever be perfect. lol Anyway This is a debut book by Emily Bleeker. The book is about a plane crash and the survivors living on and off the island. Going back to the past when they were on the island to present when they are doing their finally interview of their survival. I really enjoyed this book. Probably one of the best books I have read in awhile. It was hard to put down because I always wanted to know what was going on, on the island. I would recommend this book to everyone. Good read. Look forward to more by this author. Also added her on twitter and facebook. She has followed m back on Twitter which is pretty cool to me.

I have just started reading The One That Got Away which is about a serial killer and a victim that got away. The killer teaching people or well killing people to show them a lesson. Then also about the one that got away. It goes back and forth from killer to victim. I have not read very far into this book. I can tell you that it already has me at the edge of my seat. I have not read any other books by Simon Wood but so far I am enjoying what I am reading I will be picking more books up by him.

I have also just finished listening to The Jester by James Patterson. I wasn’t sure this book would be at any interest to be coming from 11 century France era but I found it to be a really good book. About a Jester setting things right. That common folk should be free.

Has anyone ever thought about how many people would be in this earth if it wasn’t for all these nonsense killings before their was justice for killing people. Just wonder if their would be enough space on this planet for everyone. Just something I was thinking about while listening to the Jester.

I have not really been into James Patterson since probably a couple years ago. Not into his love novels. Really enjoyed the Women’s Murder Club, Alex Cross, and Micheal Bennett series. Now I am going through all his random books and pretty much listening to them at work. I have downloaded Judge and Jury and When the Wind Blows. Not sure which one I will listen to next. I also do not care for his young adult books. Their just awful.

Right now I put the latest book from The series Mortal Instruments on the back burner. I have about half of the book done but it just seems to be dragging on and on and I just cannot focus on reading it. I want to finish City of Heavenly Fire and get the series over with yet just sick on the story line. It’s been the same thing for last 3 books. Cassandra Clare had me hooked but now I am just bored.

What are you reading?
