One week from today and the bar exam will be entirely behind me. I can’t say for certain whether the studying will be, but the February 2015 Bar Exam will have been completed. Or, as the Kaplan website says: 4 days until the exam!

That being said, I honestly haven’t studied a lot today. My head hurts and my body is reacting VERY poorly to the cold. This time not with napping (which would be better, methinks) but with the stiffness and pain that most rheumatoid arthritis sufferers feel in the midst of such bitter cold. Every movement is punctuated with a loud CRACK and I have a headache. So… perhaps not studying as hard today is best all around. I’m still reading my textbooks and trying to focus on areas I consistently misunderstand. Namely: Corporations, Business Associations, and anything to do with Mortgages.

The wife has today off from work and it is kind of funny seeing her deal with what I’ve been experiencing. She can hardly believe how cold the apartment is. I would estimate that either the walls, the seals, or both bleed heat to an alarming degree. So we are both bundled up in multiple layers trying to keep warm in our own home. The Wife even had to resort to wearing gloves (which was nice to see as, during long periods of testing, I have resorted to wearing a stocking cap).

That’s the day! I may try to catch up on bookmarks today, I’ll definitely keep reading and trying (desperately) to study… the Kaplan Final had an average score of 120.... YIKES! Does not bode well for my need to score higher than a 115. I’ll try to do a load of laundry.... and then I have to pack! We’re that close to the exam.... tonight I pack, tomorrow I leave! If I hadn’t already been doing it, this is the point at which I would start to pray dramatically. I’ve been praying. I’ve been studying. I just hope it is all enough.

Also… this page has some great Batman Villain quotes for anyone interested.
