What;s the world coming to....... in blackpropaganda

I invariably wake up between 5 am and 6 am - if not earlier - and in order to go back to sleep i need to have a pee (main reason for waking up) and then put on the radio which is tuned to Radio 4, the main channel for news and talk in the UK.
In the night R4 transmits the BBC World Service so if you are awake for some time you learn a lot about world affairs - but the chat usually sends us off to sleep again.
It was more difficult this morning - two shooting incidents in Copenhagen where people were killed - possibly another jihadist attack - the issue of the ceasefire in the Ukraine - demonstrations in Istanbul about the rape of a young woman - and other mayhem around the world. How much easier life is if you take no interest in what is happening elsewhere - you seem so small and powerless faced with the enormities being inflicted on people just like you - and then you start thinking about things in your own life which need sorting - and then Radio 4 comes on and you can relax as they discuss farming!!!!!

Since I had no time to do a new one SW… brought out a Valentine’s Day card I had done a couple of years ago - and then found there was nothing written on it - fancy that! - well of course those cards are supposed to be anonymous so you don’t know who your Valentine is.

Anyway, the red hearts, chocolates and flowers of St Valentine should have been cleared from the supermarkets by now, and even though Lent does not start until next week I guess Easter Eggs will dominate the shelves. If anyone knows any potential consumer high spots before then let the supermarkets know - actually they know everything anyway. When you get coupons for offer from Tesco they are for things they know you are interested in from your card - where does all this information go?

And as for all my e mails etc - let alone entries on here - who is gathering them up as a source of information. One thing is odd to me - some time ago Photofucket would bam all kinds of images etc which it thought not appropriate - now nothing seems to be banned - well not in my case anyway. Anyone else found this?
