ELEVEN DAYS! Seriously?! I mean… I’m absolutely torn on this. On the one hand… holy crap, that is soon and this is a big deal. On the other hand… preparing for this has been an absolute beast, and I can hardly imagine what life will be like when prep isn’t consuming my every waking moment. Especially as I can tell I’m getting emotional fatigue. Not just fatigued about the stress and everything but just… bogged down by The Totality of the Circumstances. I’m sick of waiting for my life to start; I need to crush this damned exam and move forward.

Jumping RIGHT back into it to finish these last two videos and check point quizzes!
Conflicts of Law (2.5 Hours): This one I imagine is going to be all over the Bar Exam. This is the first examination where Civil Procedure is openly graded, so I expect the examiners to jump on that opportunity. That being said, conflicts of law is a unique element of civil procedure and a complicated one.
Check Point Score: 56%
Jog, Shower, Food Break.... and Archer Break
Family Law (3.5 Hours): Not super worried here. Granted, I did shittily in this at the last exam; but traditionally, this is an area I handle well. Especially as the majority of law that falls under this subject is strictly “Marital Law and Divorce.”
Check Point Score: 80%

Now… no more substantive videos! Holy cow. LOTS to do still, though.
Especially looking over my Check Point Scores in total..... time to really study and get all of these topics mastered.

Checkpoint Summary In Ascending Order of Score
Corporations - 31%
Real Property - 44%
Civil Procedure - 45%
Estate Law -50%

Family Law - 80 %
Con Law - 85%

Now… here’s some more personal stuff as… really… I have to start realizing and embracing that my life isn’t always going to be entirely consumed by Bar Exam Prep, lol.

HA! So, don’t know why… don’t know where it came from… but as I started studying today… I will admit, I was still sufficiently tired. And every time I closed my eyes… images like the following popped into my head:

More personal stuff to share. As predicted (and as always) days where the wife has off from work tend to be less productive in studying than I’d prefer.

All day, the wife has been in an absolutely foul mood. Why? She constantly uses a website famous for its spyware/malware/trojans and other computer bugs… and despite numerous times of her laptop getting infected, she still uses the damned site. So… lo and behold… today her laptop is detrimentally infected. So she’s in a terrible mood, big ol’ storm cloud over her head! I get it. She even says that she needs to learn how to be an adult (at almost 35 years old)… but when she keeps doing the same thing, the same results keep occurring, and she still lets it ruin her entire day… I just don’t understand and don’t like trying to deal with........
Especially NOW. So, I got her a bunch of stuff for Valentine’s Day as kind of a “Lets have a marriage” and also “Thanks for putting up with Bar Study.” One of the things came today. One of her favorite European Bands will be in my hometown in April… I went to the band website and bought two tickets for the show.... band website ticket sales are all handled by Stub Hub (gack) but oh well.... $89 per ticket sucks, but I so rarely get her to go out that we have a little extra to spend on dates. Tickets came today. Face Value on each ticket was $30. So… stubhub (or seller) screwed us, but I played by the rules… Band Site to Vendor to Cheapest Tix for Sale. My wife, then, goes from Venue to Vendor to Cheapest Tix for Sale and is able to find a price just five to ten dollars over face but services and taxes included the pair comes to about what I paid for one ticket. Now she wants me to re-sell the tickets on Stub Hub (for a loss), wait a week to see if they sell, and (if they do) try to buy the tickets from the Venue while I’m in town for the bar exam. Because… you know.... I’ll have so much time and be so clear headed! (kind of blowing up on the inside but… really rather focus on studying more!)
