So much for that in Adventures in paradise

I’m at the gym again but I’m just cycling today. Have been the past two days, so I’m doing well in regards to that.

Work felt a bit weird today. Like the Inventory Manager forgot I was even coming in, which just goes to show how much I’m really needed on Thursdays rolls eyes. Good news is it meant he actually did work shock horror so I just did my usual LTO and began the freezer load. With the heat and all, it worked out well. But man, what a mess that freezer was geesh. Gonna have to really attack it tomorrow if I get tma chance to. It’s mainly all bakery crap.

Earlier today, I went into the YD in the city here to see if they could do measurements for me for the suit. I didn’t see why not.
Well that plan went nowhere when I saw two ditsy girls were working and were like, like, “We need the suit-code and the suit style,” and “we don’t do discount,” when I told her the story about how I needed to pick up the suit in Toowoomba but just needed sizes. Shhesh, I woulda thought all it would take was a quick tape measure across the shoulders, waist and leg, but I ended up just walking out of there.
I mean, how hard would it have been to give the Toowoomba store a quick ring and find out what STYLE of suit it was? And to enquire about the discount?
I guess it meant no business directly for their store, so they were just like, “Nup, fuck ya.”

I’m thinking I might just catch a Greyhound to Toowoomba on Monday and get this shit over with. I know one of my brother’s friends (one of the other groomsmen) is heading into Toowoomba on Saturday so wants to get his suit then, but he still won’t be able to because me and my older bro still haven’t been able to get to Toowoomba to get our suits. And apparently they won’t accept payment over the phone, only in person. Ergh. I can just see, I will go there and not be able to take my suit home either because someone else won’t have paid for theirs. They won’t let anyone take their suits until every one of them has been paid for. Something to do with the discount deal. Pretty frustrating!

Anyway, caught up with Moe and Sheldon briefly before work. I could only stay for 30 mins though, as I had to head off. And of course, I ordered food and it took FOREVER to be served. I thought they’d forgotten about my order. She did apologise though, so that was good.
So I had to scoff down my food when my friends had already finished theirs.
Moe had bought a polaroid camera with a gift voucher he had. I can’t upload it here from my phone so I’ll do it when I get home if I remember. Sheldon took a photo on his phone OF the polaroid so some of you may have already seen it on my Facebook.
Just a warning, I look gay as FUCK in the photo bahaha. Like holy shit, if I wasn’t already openly gay, that polaroid would be a dead giveaway :P
