i got home today at 2.
Took a big nap starting at 6 or so and just got up and took a bath.

At work today and just now in the bathtub I’ve been reading The Good Soldier by Ford Madox Ford - cute name huh? It’s a paperback I’ve had forever. He was a Parisian compatriot of Hemingway and Fitz and he was never the success they were. There are of course stories about them, about him.

It’s about rich people, loves and losses, etc. with a suicide and who knows what else. i just opened it in the middle and started reading

it has some really good love stuff, not sex, as he said that is a given, no point in talking about that. it’s passion though, and what we are looking for and what we find and why we do it.

I’m always surprised when I find that in a book. When the author tells me things I either do not know or know on a subconscious level. A book is a success when it does that. And when it uses good and interesting language to do it.
