Coming of a week of bad weather and good Football yesterday and this morning were needed. I watched the Super Bowl and did not have a favorite. I did enjoy a well played game and wish to congratulate the PATS for a hard fought and deserved victory. Neither team had anything to regret.
Yesterday we were in the midst of a brutal mixture of snow and freezing rain. My doors were frozen shut so I used the remote starter to start the car and went back to my office for 10 minutes while the car thawed out. When I got home I found an invitation in the mail to my eldest grand daughter’s wedding in April 2015. Doctor Kelly will be marrying Doctor Dave. They are a lovely couple.
This morning I had my meeting with the Project Manager for my house raising grant. It was nice to speak to someone who spoke plain English and not Governmentese for a change. Now I have to get contracts signed with the builder and the Engineering Company and then move ahead . From what I can see the paperwork is worse than the building. I will have to be out of the house for about 3 months while the lifting is being done. Hopefully I can be back in and finished before the Summer ends.
