These winter weeks seem to pass rather quietly, my Daughter and I have our round of craft or art classes, and our dogs agility classes; weather permitting. Also there are walks on the beach come dull or sunny days, today we got up to white patches across the valley where the sun hasn’t had the touch of the morning sun; our side!
It was not snow but more hailstones, when I took the dogs out last thing the patio was damp, the hail must have arrived early this morning when the temperature falls, so the patio, the steps and drive are very icy, strangely the best way to take the dogs out was a rout round the edge of the patio [quite slippery] and up the steps [clear of ice] to the small central lawn under the trees.
I have photographs from the last eight days, so it’s time for me to catch-up, I need to go out for logs, these cold nights we need extra warmth, I’ll let the sun do it’s thing over our ice; then I shall get off ….
28 January, a cold dull day and a strong northern wind driving the waves up the beach.
30th January, the clouds were less dense, it was still the same cold wind from the north.
1st February, much like the 28th but the clouds have parted, it was a sunny cold day!
And there was the 26th January and Lola’s trip to her groomer, but this time it was a new groomer much closer to home, so it’s goodbye to the groomer with a view of the sea; the girls seemed happy with Lola’s cut – and not to short with the northern wind blowing very where.
Lola happy.
All was fine until some one said there more Lola under Lola’s fir than they expected!
Lola not so ….
Note, after a walk with Ziggy this morning, we could see there more weather than we thought!
