Years ago, many tall ships visited San Diego. I photographed as much as I could of these ships that day. Only as we were leaving for home did I see this shot. It’s not a true portrait as are other’s in this series. It captures a modern moment on one of Hitler’s training ships that made me smile.
- Himself: Gym, laundry, work, nap, work, eat, meeting. Some days are like that.
- Herself: I was fine right up to the nap. He didn’t wake me up, and my carefully planned day was thrown off. I just let it go, finished my book, and puttered. Got more computer salvage done, and mended for half an hour or so on that Flying Geese quilt from China. My friend DA’s husband K died. I introduced them. I am very sorry. Saw Margot for a brief visit.
- Reading: ”No More Words” by Reeve Lindbergh.
- Balance: Just letting it all go.
