Lame game. in A small but passable life.

Friday it rained all day. A steady non-stop rain. By Saturday morning the rain had stopped but it remained cloudy all day. Yesterday it was sunny but somewhat cool.

Mom and I watched the Superbowl yesterday. I don’t usually watch TV or sports but the Superbowl is good for spectacle and stupidity. We were watching NBC. I don’t know if that was the official channel or not. When did this spectacle become so drab and outright boring? No shots of the crowd or the cheerleaders? A most lame halftime show. The audio really sucked during the halftime show. And what was Seattle doing literally throwing the game away at the end? Dumbasses. The whole thing was like one of those movies to where at the end you’re like “What the hell?” It sure reminded me of why I don’t watch TV or “sports”. A total waste of time.

Needless to say, I’ve been in my pajama pants since Thursday evening. No reason to go out therefore no reason to get dressed. I can’t really tell if Mom is getting irritated at me or not for doing nothing but sit in this chair. Oh well. Those who’ve been reading me for a while know that that is what I do. I sit. And sit. And sit. I’m good at it.

It is 61 degrees at 10:56am. It may not reach the forecast high of 71 degrees in time to go to the pool today. If not, maybe tomorrow. It is supposed to climb into the eighties by this weekend. Nice.

It is 19 degrees back home right now. I guess I’d be bundling up and walking somewhere to be warm and to sit for the day after sleeping until at least noon. I believe that’s what I was doing last winter.

Jassy called and we talked for quite a bit. Liam got busted for scarfing up a cat turd. At least he knows how to stay out of the litter box. He had found a wayward turd that Miss Asscat had laid out of bounds.

Well hell, I guess I better get up and at least pretend I’m going to do/doing something. I should clean up this pile I’ve built by this chair over the last couple of months.
