A Rotary Coal dumper in Tales of the Jointed Track

When I talk about unloading coal at the Comanche Plant Exel Energy..this is what it is. No this is not the Comanche but an unloading facility like it.

A mechanical arm moves the train, and spots each car, after 3 are manually spotted on the head end. This sets the mechanism, and each car is placed into the dumper and unloaded. Water is sprayed during the dumping process to cut down on coal dust and, possible ignition due to static electricity.
